Placiness extended through August 28
Placiness, the current exhibit in ’57 Biscayne’s newly refurbished lobby & hallway galleries, will run through August 28th, so if you missed it due to Art Fair FOMO and/or eyeball fatigue, don’t be sad.
For-sure hours: Friday August 12 from 1-6 PM, then the remaining Fridays & Saturdays of August 1-6 PM and also by appointment.
The building is open during regular business hours, but to make sure you get the whole experience (i.e., the whole gallery is accessible and the gallery lights are turned on) it’s best to email first.
Placiness features art inspired by the buildings, history, landscape, and humanscape of Seattle. Paintings, drawings, and photographs directly confronting the cityscape, constructions incorporating materials endemic to the region and more.
