A rare opening in one of the cute cozy studios on the third floor of ’57 Biscayne is coming up on November 1. Studio 310, a 205-square-foot gem, has windows facing west to overlook First Avenue. One wall is exposed brick, two are white-painted drywall, and the fourth is mostly taken up with three windows, one of which is operable.
The building has working heat/AC. The monthly rent of $525 includes utilities, including shared wifi, and use of a shared kitchenette, bathroom, lobby, and display spaces. All studios are work-only, with 24/7 access. Leases are one year with a month-to-month default option after expiration.
The artists of ’57 Biscayne organize coordinated open studios approximately twice a year, sharing publicity & planning tasks and drawing a good crowd. The members of this community are serious about their art, professional, supportive of other artists, and readily lend their skills to make ’57 Biscayne successful and generally awesome. We welcome all peoples and genders, and naturally expect anyone who joins us to do likewise.
